In the third quarter of 2021, Sensor Tower data revealed intriguing trends among the top five food delivery service apps on the iOS platform in the United States. Here’s a closer look at their performance:

eMeals - Healthy Meal Plans saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, starting at approximately $13.5K in late June and peaking at around $24.8K in early August. Weekly downloads also showed an upward trajectory, reaching a high of 6.4K in early August from a low of 2.6K in late August. The app maintained a steady number of weekly active users, peaking at 14K in early August and ending the quarter with around 10.9K users.

Flash Order Digital Ordering had a mixed quarter. Weekly revenue fluctuated, starting at $731 in late June and peaking at approximately $1.1K in mid-September. Downloads remained low but saw a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching up to 10 downloads per week.

Specialty Produce experienced varied weekly revenue, starting at $127 in late June and peaking at $436 in late August. Weekly downloads were modest, with a high of 100 downloads in mid-August and a low of 23 in early September.
